Terms of sale.

These terms cover the Nooks Founder's Kit, sold on nooks.place. In short: you pay $225 now for your first custom kit, kits ship from late November to early December 2026, and you can have a full refund any time before your kit starts production.

Who you are buying from

Nooks is run by Byte Universe Corporation, operating as Nooks. You can reach us at hello@nooks.place.

What you are buying

The Founder's Kit costs $225 (US dollars), paid once. It includes:

• Your first kit. When custom sets open, you upload a picture. We design a brick model from it and you preview it in 3D, step by step, before anything is made. Once you approve the design, we order every part, print the manual and send the kit in its own box. A kit is one flat price, whatever its size. Most kits come to a few hundred to about 1,500 pieces. A much larger build, such as a wall-sized mosaic, is quoted separately, and you are never charged for one without agreeing to it first.
• The Nooks workbench. You get saving, exporting, importing your own models and the photo-to-brick designer for as long as Nooks runs the workbench. These features unlock on your account when accounts open.
• Early access. You can start your design on the day custom sets open, before anyone else.

This is a pre-order. Custom sets are not open yet, so there is nothing to upload now.

When kits ship

Founder's Kits ship from late November to early December 2026. We will email you when custom sets open, again when your design is ready to approve, and again when your kit ships.

If we cannot ship your kit within that window, we will email you before it closes with a new date. You can then either accept the new date or cancel for a full refund. If you do not tell us you accept the new date, we will refund you.

We ship to the United States, Canada, and the countries of the European Union and the Schengen area. Shipping is included in the price. Outside the United States, any import duties, VAT or customs fees your country charges on delivery are paid by you, the buyer.

Refunds

• Before your kit starts production: a full refund at any time, for any reason. Production starts when you approve your design and we order its parts, and we tell you before that happens. Email hello@nooks.place from the address you paid with and we will refund the full $225 to your original payment method, usually within 5 business days.
• Once production has started: your kit is being made for you, so it can no longer be cancelled, except when we miss the shipping window (see above).
• After your kit arrives: no returns. Each kit is made to your own design, so it cannot be resold. For the same reason, the 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases in the EU does not apply to it. If a part is missing or broken, email us a photo and we will send a replacement for free.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

Payment

Payments are taken by Whop, our payment provider, which handles your card details. We never see them. Whop's own terms also apply to the payment. Any sales tax or VAT is shown at checkout.

Your designs and pictures

You keep the rights to the pictures you send us. You give us permission to use them only to design and make your kit. Only send pictures that you own or have permission to use. Designs are made with the help of AI and checked against how real parts fit together. The preview shows you exactly what you will get before you approve it.

The kit itself

Kits are made from real bricks: standard parts that exist, in colours they are really made in. They come with a parts list and a printed, step-by-step manual.

Warning: choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.

Our responsibility

If something goes wrong with your order, the most we are responsible for is what you paid us for it. This does not apply where the law does not allow such a limit.

Changes and law

If we change these terms, the version you agreed to when you paid still applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
